Captured high in the Swiss Alps, King of the Alps was created after spending an entire day alongside a herd of Alpine ibex. Staying with them for hours allowed me to observe their behaviour and wait for the right combination of position, light and landscape.

What makes this image special is the scale of the surroundings. The ibex stands quietly in the foreground while the dramatic mountain valley and blue alpine lake fall away behind him. His powerful horns and calm presence make him feel completely at home in this vast landscape, a true king of the Alps.

 

 

Print Details

Each photograph is produced as a premium Alu Dibond print on a 3 mm matte aluminium composite panel. The high resolution seven colour UV printing process delivers exceptional sharpness, fine detail and rich tonal depth, while the matte surface reduces distracting reflections.

The frameless design creates a clean, contemporary gallery look. A concealed aluminium profile is professionally mounted on the back, allowing the artwork to float approximately 1 cm from the wall.
